The Sick Rose

This poem does not have a single interpretation. It has as many interpretations as your mind`s thoughts! Let`s share our thoughts about this short, yet a very beautiful and a comprehensive poem.
" O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm,
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,
Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy;
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy."
What do you think it might be about?
